CULT hero Dennis Tuffour will be able to play for the Knights in tomorrow’s Northern Rail Cup quarter-final after all.
Under rules regarding dual- registered players, the winger would have been ineligible having not represented the Knights in the group stages. However, the club have turned his switch from Hull to York into a loan agreement, making him eligible. Under such terms, the Knights could deny the Airlie Birds the right to call him back within a month but a gentleman’s agreement is in place that will see the loan cancelled if Tuffour has the chance to play in Super League.
