UNDER-STRENGTH York City Knights reserves suffered a 56-18 defeat at Whitehaven yesterday.
A series of late withdrawals left coach Mick Ramsden with only 14 players – and they then lost Derek Chatt to a hamstring tear.
Dan Mole, Chris Williams, Callum Dinsdale and Jack Stearman turned in good performances.
The Knights try scorers were Stearman, Williams and Steve Lewis. Mole kicked two goals and Stearman one.
