FULL-BACK Shaun Briscoe is expected to return to the Hull KR squad for Sunday’s Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth round tie against York City Knights.
Robins coach Justin Morgan is planning to send a strong squad to Huntington Stadium, with Briscoe in line to return from a knee injury he picked up at the start of last month.
Morgan said: “Shaun Briscoe should be back from injury this weekend as well and that will be a good bonus for us. If he gets through the week okay then expect him to play on Sunday.
“Joel Clinton plays this week. Rhys Lovegrove will certainly come back into contention as well.
“Mick Vella is likely to play this weekend. We’ll be picking the strongest team for each opposition we play against.”
