YORK City Knights snatched a crucial 30-28 Co-operative Championship victory with a late try against relegation rivals Dewsbury Rams.
The Knights led 18-16 at the break but trailed 28-24 heading into the closing stages before taking the points.
Anthony Thackeray scored twice to add to tries by Matt Garside, Ryan Esders and Dave Sutton.
Tom Bush kicked four goals and Chris Thorman one.
The win moved York up to eighth in the table, two points clear of the relegation zone.
