INJURY-HIT York City Knights reserves fell 50-14 to a strong Keighley side last night to remain win-less in the Reserve Championship.
The Knights, already low on numbers in the pivots, lost Haiden Barber to injury before they had even touched the ball and also saw Jamie Baxter depart crocked in the first half.
The home team, meanwhile, fielded first-team playmakers Jy-Mel Coleman and Paul March, the former York player-boss.
Try-scorers for the Knights were Dave Sutton, Joe Hemmings and regular scorer Jack Stearman, with Callum Hannigan kicking a goal.
Tyler Craig shone having switched from his usual stand-off role to hooker, while George Elliott, a threequarter in the first team, impressed in his run-out at full-back. Big Adam Howard took credit for playing the full 80 minutes at prop.
